Interests

What I care about

Applied AI

More than a technology deployment, this is AI that earns its place in a workflow. I care about the product discipline and engineering rigor that turn an AI model into something people actually rely on.

Real-time systems

Networking, physics, time, simulation. Reaching optimal performance while respecting system limits is the engineering problem I keep coming back to.

Deep tech & platforms

Foundational tools and platforms that make whole teams faster. I've architected many pipelines and systems with a long shelf life across graphics, content management and procedural generation.

Building organizations

Teams, talent, operating systems, and culture. The most durable impacts I have are through the organizations I create and the people I've lead.

Communities

Where I show up

Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO)

Member & Forum Moderator

A global community of founders and entrepreneurs. I was a member from 2022 to 2024 and went on hiatus during my time at MIT. I founded a new forum and served as forum moderator. This is a great organization to cover the 360 experience (personal, family and business) of owning and operating a company.

I was part of an amazing cohort and network of peers. MIT Sloan provided a space for leadership growth alongside frameworks for strategy, finance and disciplined entrepreneurship.

Off the clock

Things I do to unwind

  • I cook — usually improvised from whatever's on hand, ideally for a table full of friends.
  • I bike to get around Montreal - as much as I can.
  • I love a good puzzle.
  • I bake bread - the crust is my favorite part.
  • I cross-country ski in the winter.
  • My favorite video game genres are strategy, simulation and adventure.
