About
I build high-performing technology organizations from the ground up.
I align engineering, product, and business to deliver outcomes at scale.
I co-founded and scaled Double Stallion Games from 4 to 30 people, serving as CEO and general manager across engineering, product, and business. I assembled and aligned a leadership team of six directors, brokered studio-defining partnerships with Riot Games and Nickelodeon, owned P&L, developed talent, raised funding, and managed through crisis scenarios.
My background in games gives me a product-sensitive engineering lens: I've led teams where technical decisions directly shaped user experience, partner outcomes, and commercial delivery. Throughout my career, I built the real-time networking, physics, and procedural-generation systems behind our product line, the kind of work explored in Convergence and Surfpunk. That technical depth helps me lead senior engineers while making tradeoffs that balance technical risk with product and business outcomes.
I care most about the environment I build for people. When I get it right, talented people do the best work of their careers and grow into bigger roles, and many have gone on to do great things since. I think of myself as an integrator: the person who steps back, sees the whole organization running, and makes the strategic adjustments that keep it on track.
Currently, I'm approaching AI with a pragmatic focus on where the technology creates real value in workflows that are P&L relevant. I want to work with exceptional people, build something that matters and help my team grow professionally.
What I’m looking for
I'm looking for a CTO or engineering leadership role in a high-growth AI or deep-tech company where I can apply my experience building teams, platforms, and partnerships to drive technology and product outcomes at scale. Based in Montréal; open to hybrid, in-person, or fully remote.
Strengths
Leading strengths
Rigor and execution
I hold a high bar and own the outcome. I'm exacting in the details, take responsibility, and get things done. I work with others to raise the standard.
Product-aware engineering
My architecture decisions became pillars of the games I shipped. With deep roots in real-time networking, physics, and procedural generation, I see where technology creates opportunity.
Rapid domain acquisition
I learn fast and go deep. From AI and ML at MIT to an unfamiliar industry on a consulting engagement, I get up to speed quickly enough to lead credibly and unblock teams from day one.
Organization-building
I build and scale technology organizations from nothing. I install the operating structures that enable teams to deliver: EOS, agile delivery, and milestone discipline that turns plans into shipped work.
Crisis leadership
I perform with real stakes on the line. I've owned the P&L, raised funding, and held a talented team together through the boom-and-bust reality of a volatile industry.
Developing people
I work to build the environment where people do the best work of their careers. I've coached engineers and producers into directors and executives, and many have gone on to do great things since.

Career story
2003 — 2009
Founder & Lead Developer
Eternal Silence
At fifteen years old, I embarked on an ambitious project: a hybrid of first-person combat and space dogfighting. I recruited a volunteer team and learned to lead people toward a shared vision. We hacked past the engine's hard limits to ship seamless space combat, drew the attention of Valve, and won Best Multiplayer Mod at the Independent Games Festival. I learned how to solve big technical challenges and ship a game.

Software Engineering Co-op
Electronic Arts
A university internship on the systems engineering team for Need for Speed: Nitro. I parallelized a slow track-visibility computation across hardware for an 8x speedup. I learned systems engineering and the craft of squeezing out every last bit of performance.
2011 — 2012
Technical Associate, Enterprise Business Intelligence Services
Morgan Stanley
I won a sponsored coding competition, which led to an offer and a training program in New York City. I rewrote a business intelligence platform with a query optimizer that sharply improved its responsiveness, then left after a few months to bet on myself and start a company.
2010 — 2012
Founder
Crankshaft Games · Montréal
I founded my own studio to finish my indie game, Party of Sin, releasing it on Steam. I lead a fully remote team that worked off a custom engine built on top of the XNA framework. We launched a successful Kickstarter campaign.

Co-founder & CEO
Double Stallion Games · Montréal
Double Stallion was the through-line of the next twelve years. I co-founded it and grew it from 4 to 30 as CEO and general manager, across engineering, product, art, and operations. We shipped titles with Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon, shipped Speed Brawl on console and PC, and partnered with Riot Games on a League of Legends title, Convergence. I built the foundational technology and, just as importantly, the leadership team and culture behind it. I also led through a hard industry downturn, the most difficult stretch of my career.
- 2013 — Shipped Big Action Mega Fight and spun out of Execution Labs
- 2017 — Launched a game IP with Cartoon Network
- 2018 — Shipped Speed Brawl, our first console and PC title; began work with Nickelodeon
- 2023 — Shipped Convergence with Riot Forge across six platforms
- 2025 — Shipped Surfpunk wave tech and procedural generation
- 2026 — Stepping back from day-to-day operations

Executive MBA
MIT Sloan School of Management
MIT had been a dream since I became an engineer. Knowing the school's history and culture, I couldn't turn down the chance to be part of it. I pursued the Executive MBA while still running the studio, sharpening strategy, finance, and disciplined entrepreneurship. I made life-long friends in the program, travelling back and forth between Boston and Montreal.
2025 — 2026
Technical Co-Founder
Thyme.ly
At MIT, while juggling a business, the degree, and a family, I became fascinated by how AI could ease the logistics of family life. I co-founded Thyme.ly with a classmate, working to develop the tech and product discipline to bring it to market.
